Colleen, Publishing Architect for Writers. What does this mean for you? Over 80% of the population desires to become a published author. Colleen has the education and ability to direct you through the manuscript creation, the publishing, and the marketing process taking care of the administrative tasks while you #WriteYourWay.

Colleen has owned and operated her own business since 1996. Within three years of opening her doors, Colleen was managing a multiple six-figure business with a team of 11 subcontractors. She is a published author and an award-winning writer and loves working with authors, coaches, speakers, website designers, etc. Colleen believes the written word is still important when conveying your professional image; no matter what. She has over 20 years of experience in copywriting, copyediting, proofreading, and consulting.

Colleen is currently the Executive Director for the Cincinnati Chapter of the Public Speakers Association. She started the local chapter of the Ohio Valley Business Services Network in 1999, and she served as Co-Editor of IVAACast, a monthly industry e-zine for Virtual Assistants from 2010-2014. She recently provided copywriting for all email marketing campaigns for the International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA). She is an active participant in Relay for Life, and she chaired the event from 2007-2010 and has chaired several other Relay committees since 1998. Colleen also volunteers for the Literacy Network of Greater Cincinnati.

For fun, Colleen participates in competitive walking events; she completed her first marathon in May 2016 and is going to train for the May 2017 Flying Pig Skyline Chili 3 Way with Extra Cheese which consists of a Little Kings 1 mile on Friday, a 5K and 10K on Saturday, and a half marathon on Sunday, May 5-7, 2017.  She completed a triathlon when she turned 50 (yes, that was a few years ago!), and in the fall of 2014 she started taking violin lessons. In 2011, recipient of the Best of Cincinnati Writers Award presented by U.S. Commerce Association. It was an honor to receive this accolade.

Past Co-Editor for IVAACast, the Industry Newsletter for International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA). I proofread all submitted articles for publication and interviewed and wrote the monthly Member Spotlight article which featured a volunteer member recognized for their outstanding commitment of volunteering for IVAA.

Before its disbandment, Colleen was a Member of Gateway Writers Club and attended meetings with other authors working to perfect her writing and proofreading skills by completing assignments designated by author Barbara Popyach and critiquing other members’ compositions.

Peter, a 2014 graduate of Morehead State University’s Caudill College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a minor in Psychology. He strives to express his thoughts and ideas in a creative and a professional way.

Peter is our Vice President, Director of Operations and contributing writer on our site. He enjoys writing blogs which provides helpful information to readers as well as general business practices and more! He comes to us with contemporary ideas, a fantastic work ethic, and unlimited energy. I look forward to exchanging ideas and having him challenge me!
